You have two Falling Sky entries.

Odd! the forum software actually doesn’t allow that (or at least it didn’t)–but thanks for catching that! Should be fixed now.

Why did Sekigahara make it onto the 2016 list and the 2016 reprint list? Wouldn’t it belong more exclusively on the games reprinted in 2016 list?

All the games on the 2016 list are ALSO on the reprint list.

My reasoning for including them in the big list: this way, we can see what our community feels is the best game to come out this year, period.

My reasoning for including them on a separate list: I thought it might be worth considering them on their own, so they didn’t have to compete with the cult of the new as much.

The second reason may partially subvert the first reason–but if that’s troubling, hopefully it’s easy enough to ignore the reprints list and focus on the big, all-inclusive one.

This has confirmed that I need to play more games - I could only offer one whole vote!

Might be too late to alter now but Medici: The Card Game was only Kickstarted a couple of months ago and won’t be released until next year, while Medici (reprint) did come out this year…

Oops! You’re 100% correct. Definitely would have preferred to have the board game up rather than then card game that no one’s really had a chance to play…

But as it’s gotten no votes–let’s see what happens if I try to change it…

EDIT: yup, it’s locked, as it should be. Let’s just consider any future votes for “Medici: The Card Game” as for either Medici or the card game version.

Please please please add New Angeles!

Please add “Game of Thrones: The Iron Throne” :sunny:

@BenRubinstein @BoltzmannBrain Would love to, guys–those are both good picks (…I’m especially stoked to try out New Angeles)! But sadly, nominations were done last week, and I can’t change the poll now!

Here’s what we can do: any likes for your posts can be considered as write-in votes! (how the math’ll work out might get a little wonky…but better than nothing I hope!)

I’d make some smarmy remark about the electoral college, but I’m kind of burnt out from hovering around the Thunderdome.
